Excitement is building as we move closer to the
Wishart State School Bush Dance 2017. Students have been working busily in
their PE lessons to learn and prepare for the big night. As stated in previous
newsletters the Bush Dance evening is on Tuesday 15 August.
Food will be available from 5.00pm and throughout
the evening. This year we will have two dance sessions which will begin at the
following times:
·
Prep to Year 2: 5.30pm – 6.30pm
·
Year 3 to Year 6: 7.00pm – 8.30pm
(Please note; if you have siblings in different year levels they are
welcome to stay for both sessions)
Each year level will have a display dance plus a second dance. Remember,
students and families are encouraged to dress to the theme of the bush (jeans,
checked shirts and akubra like hats etc.). There will be opportunities
throughout the night when the floor is open for families to also join in the
fun and dance. It will be great night for the Wishart State School community to
come together.
Student participation is important for the night’s
success. To ensure we are organised for the night we would like to get an idea
of number of students who will definitely be attending. If you could let your
child know if your family will be attending that would be great.
