Changes
to Wishart State School P&C Association Business Operations
Wishart State School P&C Association, in consultation
with Wishart State School are making changes to protect employees and students
in the school community. In line with the recommendations of the World Health
Organisation and the Australian Federal Government the P&C Association is
working closely with our school and taking steps to minimise the spread of
COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
Working with the advice from the above-mentioned
organisations on the spread of COVID-19, while for most COVID-19 will be a mild
illness, the elderly, unwell and those with underlying medical conditions as
well as Queensland’s front-line medical staff are at risk. Slowing the spread
of illness assists our health care system to manage the expected influx of
critical patients and protects the most vulnerable in our community.
The
following changes will take effect on P&C operations:
Uniform Shop – Effective from Monday 16th
March for the remainder of Term 1
Tuckshop
We thank
you for your assistance in supporting the P&C Association in making these
changes for the safety and wellbeing of our staff and students. We hope that
any inconvenience caused is alleviated by the knowledge that these actions will
assist in keeping the spread of illness to a minimum.
