Cross Country 2016

The Wishart State School Cross Country Day is going to be run on Thursday 24 March.
  • Prep to Year 3 will compete from 8.45am until approximately 9.30am.
  • Year 4, 5 and 6 will compete from 9.30am until approximately 10.45am.
Please also keep in mind that start and finish times may vary.
There will be soft drinks and bottles of water on sale by the P&C Association for parents and friends throughout the morning. Students are required to bring a named water bottle, a sun safe school hat and their running shoes. Sun cream is to be applied before assembling on the oval terrace.
Students this year will also run on the bottom oval throughout the morning as well as the main oval. Students are required to wear house colours. If you have any concerns about your child completing this event, or if your child cannot complete this event for health reasons, it is compulsory to submit a letter in writing to their classroom teacher.

Parents and friends are welcome to come along to support their child in this fun filled fitness morning! If you are able to come along, please don’t forget to bring a fold up chair with you!
