Father’s Day Stall – Thursday 30 August and Friday 31 August!
Father’s Day is quickly creeping up on us all, so mark it in your diary – 2 September. The Chaplaincy Committee is organising a stall selling Father’s Day gifts for your child/ren to purchase at school during class time on Thursday 30 and Friday 31 August. Each class will be allocated a day and time to shop for a lovely gift for their special Dad.  These times will be printed in the newsletter soon, so keep an eye out for this in the coming weeks.
Most gift items are priced between: $4.00 to $10.00. (limited gifts under $4.00 and over $10.00). Children can purchase a maximum of two gift items from the shop during their class visit. In addition, the shop will be open to all Students and Staff at second break on Friday, to scoop up a bargain of any remaining gifts.
Arrangements will be made by their teacher for students not participating to continue with their school work.
Gifts purchased will be put in a plastic bag with the child’s name and class. If you would prefer to use your own recyclable bag, please send along with your child.
Father’s Day Stall Helpers Needed...
·         Wrapping Days - we will be sorting, wrapping and pricing gifts in the Conference Room (aka Chappy Room, near the Office) on Monday 27 August and Tuesday 28 August from 9.00am
·         Shop Days - We also need helpers to assist the children in choosing their gifts on Thursday 30 August and Friday 31 August. The shop’s hours will be from 8.50am to 3.00pm.
If anyone is able to spare some time to help out in one or more of these spots, even if it is only for 30 minutes or all day, your help will be appreciated. Please contact Karen Anderson by texting 0411 124 995 or email wishart.chaplaincy@gmail.com. It’s a lot of fun and great way to meet parents and volunteers within our school community.
Thank you for your support, from Chappy Adam and Team.
