Our Active School Travel committee is hosting a walk safely to school event on Friday 31 October.
Meet at the Sovereign Gardens Park @ 8:00am this Friday morning. Together, we will walk collectively to school in a sea of red to raise awareness of child safety (Parents/Carers must accompany their child on this walk).
Did you know?
Each year, thousands of schools across Australia wear red to honour Daniel Morcombe and learn important lessons about staying safe, both in public and online.
The Daniel Morcombe Foundation teaches three key safety steps:
- Recognise when something isn't safe.
- React by saying no or moving away.
- Report by telling a trusted adult.
This Friday, let's all wear red to show we care about keeping kids safe!
