Father’s Day
is quickly creeping up on us all, so mark it in your diary - 3 September.
The
Chaplaincy Committee is organising a stall selling Father’s Day gifts for your
child/ren to purchase at school during class time on Thursday 31 August and
Friday 01 September. Each class will be allocated a day and time to shop for a
great gift for their special DAD. These times will be printed in the
newsletter soon, so keep an eye out for this in the coming weeks.
Most gift
items are priced between: $4.00 to $10.00. (limited gifts under $4.00 and over
$10.00) Children can
purchase a maximum of two gift items from the shop during their class
visit. In addition, the shop will be open to all Students and Staff at
second break on Friday, to scoop up a bargain of any remaining gifts.
Arrangements
will be made for students not participating to continue with their school work
by their teacher.
Father’s
Day Stall Helpers Needed... Please…
- Wrapping Days - we will be sorting, wrapping
and pricing gifts in the exercise room in the hall (near uniform shop) on Monday
28 & Tuesday 29 August from 9.00am.
- Shop Days - We also need helpers to assist the
children in choosing their gifts on Thursday 31 August and Friday 1 September. The shop’s hours are from 9.00am to 3.00pm daily.
If anyone is
able to spare some time to help out in one or more of these spots, even if it
is only for 30 minutes or all day, your help will be greatly appreciated.
