Our Under 8s Day is scheduled for the morning of Friday 19th May from 9:00am to 11:30am for all Prep to Year 2 students. Under 8s Day is an annual event that treats students under the ages of 8 to a morning of pure playfulness, spontaneity, exploration, imagination and fun! The theme for this year is "Play - You, Me, and Our Communities".
The Prep to Year 2 children will participate in adult let activities from 9am until 10:45am, then enjoy a picnic style lunch with their family or adult helper from 10:45am until 11:25am. We have many exciting visitors joining us this year including the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Fire Service, Bunnings, Mt Gravatt Library, Wishart Scouts, and a Petting Farm. Our teachers from Prep to Year 2 are also busy creating exciting and engaging activities to make the morning fun.
If you are a parent/carer, who has completed the Mandatory Volunteer Training, and able to assist on this morning, can you please make contact with your child's teacher? We are seeking 1 parent for each 3-4 students to assist with escorting them around to each of the activities.
