A friendly reminder that the school day (learning) starts at 8:45am.
Plan the morning trip to school so students arrive by approximately 8:30am. This allows them time to settle, grab a drink and make their way to their class, ready for roll marking and learning at 8:45am.
Late arrivals to school mean missed valuable learning opportunities and also disrupts the learning of classmates who arrived on time and are already entrenched in a lesson. Students who are not at the classroom by 8:45am are deemed late, and require to obtain a late slip from the Office.
We understand that mornings with children can be tricky and implore you to think about how you may be able to make some small changes which ensures the students are at school and ready for learning on time.
