The Department of Education supports every child in Queensland State Schools to learn and engage safely in the digital world. With the rise of technology and increasing access for young people, online safety is a very important message for children to hear regularly.

On Tuesday 1st June 2021, the Cybersafety & Reputation Management Team will visit Wishart State School to speak with students in Years 4, 5 and 6.

Parent/Carer Cybersafety Information Session

In addition to the student information sessions, on Tuesday 1st June from 5:30pm – 6:30pm, there will be a Parent/Carer Cybersafety Information Session held in the Hall where you will be able to hear the concepts and messages that the students were presented with and ask any specific questions relating to cybersafety and online environments.

Should you wish to attend this information session, please ensure you are well, maintain good hand hygiene and follow the 1.5m social distancing requirements.

If interested please register your attendance to the event via:  http://ems.gs/3wfq0gadOma

Should you have any queries or questions, please contact Katherine Brown via the office on 3849 0555.
